Training An Ongoing Commitment
Ongoing training of our service providers and support personnel is an integral part of our operating philosophy. We believe that it is a priority for our employees to have the knowledge and expertise that is specific to their job, good interpersonal skills, and the right attitude. We ensure our staff members have every opportunity to continuously upgrade their level of skills and competence.
Some of the training programs for our service personnel are conducted through our King’s Transfer Calgary offices and Atlas Van Lines’ Quality Division.
The training they receive includes:
- Household Goods Handling
- Container and Van Loading
- Packing and Unpacking
- Customer Relations
- Claims Prevention
- General Moving Documentation
As part of Atlas Canada's Quality in Motion program, all agents, van operators, and support personnel must perform a list of specific tasks on every move. Failure to provide the services results in penalties; those individuals who do an exceptional job receive recognition and rewards. King’s Calgary is proud to have received many quality awards from Atlas Van Lines, the most recent in 2017.
